you would bring your ship to the repair station almost every week citing one problem or another, when in reality, you help the syndicate smuggle illegal goods into the station along with taryne. before enforcement officers could even board your ship, taryne's always first one on to fix some undiscoverable, "deathly" malfunction that she swears only she can find. the job always comes first for her, so what will happen when she's forced to decide between her loyalty to the syndicate and her loyalty to her partner in crime?

the syndicate is organizing a race offworld where only the rich and corrupt are allowed to attend and place their bets. the prize money is enough to change any normal commoner's life around, so beings from the far reaches of the universe are attending in hopes to make it theirs. taryne is one of the people in charge of the event, but when one of syndicate racers met an untimely demise, she's forced to sub in. you're a rival racer or just someone trying to get their paycheck for the month. to what lengths are you willing to go to ensure that you have the race in the bag?

teccypso is wrecked by a murderer on the loose. they hit quickly and leave no traces behind, stumping the enforcement officers. the bounty for their head has been increasing by the week, enough for people to go witch hunt crazy. taryne unexpectedly catches the murderer red-handed one day, but was unable to pinpoint any distinguishable features about the fellow. you turn out to be the murderer. the fact that someone's potentially recognized you draws you out of the darkness long enough for you to do one thing: frame your accuser.

This is more of a connection with a little bit of plot. You and Arel trained together from a young age, you two were basically inseparable. You parted ways when you were around 18, each headed for their own bounty hunting journeys. It's been a number of cycles now, you only recently began coming to Teccypso and you've heard in passing that a bounty hunter with a small bat companion frequents the space station. That could only be Arel, right?
