Vera never once wanted for anything while growing up. She wasn't afraid to admit that she had in fact been a golden spoon, her father being the chairman for some important business that Vera no longer cared about, as she had stopped caring about her family the second they kicked her out with no prior warning. Originally born in Japan she traveled abroad to many places for her studies as her father groomed her to become the next chairman.

You could say everything was going smoothly until she had the gall to ask why her parents hated Thalassans. Unlike them Vera couldn't care less about them. They existed and took about as much space in her life as her next door neighbor did, which wasn't much. The cherry on top was when Vera proudly exclaimed she wanted to man a ship. The next day her bags were packed out on the curb with a note.

"Don't come back until you've learned to follow the rules. Don't even think of becoming a chairwoman with that attitude!"

"I mean whose side are you on anyway?" "Whichever side gives me gummies....and money."

With a shrug Vera just took it all in stride. She truthfully never had any real ambition to become chairwoman as it seemed like a lot of work and strict guidelines to follow. She never did grow out of her dispassionate sentiment towards Thalassans, in fact it was with the help of one that she was able to have her previous ship. Having stolen it from a wealthy billionaire near Indiisla, but that's a story for another time. She gathered up a decent crew, they weren't the smartest but they got the job done and had the brute strength that Vera didn't possess.

Along her many voyages she's been helped and has helped many Thalassans so, once again her opinion of them doesn't seem to change. Of course none of these exchanges come free as even for other Terrans Vera is unlikely to fulfill even the most simplistic request. People outside her crew tend to regard her with a wary eye because yes, Vera is spontaneous and is prone to make and drop plans at the drop of a hat. That coupled with the fact that she regularly disregards mores, rules, and long held traditions causes them to keep her at arm's length. What they don't know is that Vera can't be bothered to truly stir up a ruckus. Unless of course you're willing to pay.

Before You Approach Me

1. Hit me up anywhere at anytime I don't mind! Honestly I'm like a shy mouse and if we for some reason stop talking I'll just assume you wanted to end things and won't reach it cause I'm super anxious.
2. I don't mind random starters but please do have them be a bit detailed.
3. I get extremely clingy with even just friends so fair warning I suppose.

Writing/Plotting Style

1. Sometimes I do have a a whole plot ready while other times I have parts of it and would like to complete it with you.
2. Although I'll be honest sometimes I'm just in the mood to randomly start things because why not, let's just use our imagination.
3. I do prefer 3rd pov literate replies. Mostly because I'm trying to get back into them by practicing, also if you see some typos I'm sorry. My mind is too fast for my fingers 98% of the time.

Activity/Reply Speed

1. I do try to be active almost everyday. If I'm not that means it's either a holiday or I'm spending time with family.
2. I go to sleep late and wake up late so even though my tz is -5 don't feel bad about messaging me at anytime cause honestly I'll probably be awake and respond right away.
3. I tend to respond almost immediately to your messages/replies. If I take awhile getting back to you I've either fallen asleep or got distracted by videos/listening to music while writing out my reply. Another reason my replies might take awhile is because I do want to write replies to the best of my ability.

Location Preferences

1. I can rp anywhere, it doesn't matter to me.
2. If anything I'd probably remember walls more but that's only cause I can easily find it, same can be said about pms.
3. My pms are both IC and OOC, like I said I don't really mind as I tend to just mirror my partner for everything.
