/she chuckles, sighing a little as she looks out the window and falls silent for a few minutes, watching the houses go by as she gathers her thoughts and sorts through her emotions, trying to decide how she feels and what it is she's thinking/
A part of me really doesn't think this is real. I gave up on my happy ending, and my second chance a long long time ago. The world was just , and I did what I had to do to survive until I got tired of it and starting fighting back. I knew I would pay for it in the end, but I thought it would get me killed.
I don't really understand how I got to this point. How everything I did lead me up to this ,because this wasn't a path I ever thought was a possibility.
I'm waiting for it all to get torn away from me. It feels like some kind of bait, or a trap or something. Like as soon as I get comfortable and really start to believe it, it will all come crashing down.
It feels like the only way it could actually happen was if it really was just all some kind of elaborate dream.

I know I am going to take it that way because honestly, I have resigned to the fate that I might spend the rest of my life with only cats and one night stands. I was thinking of adopting as well but it would be a hard process for a single woman like me but then I met you.

@J. Jinsoul Mhm, I can't stand their ego. It's big but really fragile then they get all defensive when we call them out on it, just proving us correct. My friends used to complain about how they behave in dating apps. It's quite hilarious actually.
*she chuckles at the memory and brings your hand up to her lips, smiling against the back of it*

I am also relieved that they didn't try anything else. Usually they are relentless. I once almost roundhouse kick this one guy for saying that he could turn me straight. It's a thing I am used to hearing even when I was abroad.
*sighs softly and nods before adding something as she chuckles*

I'm having a really good day though ,even if those s at the game store tried to ruin it
I'm actually kind of glad we had the guard
I'm sure you could have dealt with them but I didn't want to risk it cutting our day short, i'm pretty sure they have orders to haul me back at any sign of violence, even if I didn't start it.

It's been... years since I've been outside of a jail cell or that hospital
and it's been even longer since I've been in a place like this
I've never been to a mall just to shop though, the only times I've ever really been to one was to meet ... clients.
/she explains with a small shrug, climbing into the passengers seat and making sure to buckle/
It feels different, coming here like this and knowing that things will be different when you take me home

*laughs softly as she puts her arm around your shoulders and pulls you close, walking out of the store with you*
*there's a spring in her steps as the two of you making your way to her car and she's humming happily, pleased at how good the day is going so far*

There's way too many games to pick from, it's going to take me forever to find a genre I like

@J. Jinsoul Mortal Kombat. As a doctor, I find the gruesome ways one could be killed are very interesting but I sometimes can't help but grimace whenever the characters scream in agony.

Rocket League! This is a vehicular soccer video game, quite hilarious to play. And then there are Fortnite, PUBG... Unless you want to play stories focused games?
