⌲ You two used to date for a couple of years in highschool until Jiyeon ghosted you. The last you heard from her is that her mom died and even though you wanted to be there for her, you couldn't reach her. Jiyeon had moved houses and cut off all connections without letting on what happened to her. You were left with no choice but to move on. It's just teenage love, after all. Now, after years, you finally meet again and it's like seeing a ghost.

You start to go there more often and so, she decides to confront you only to find you looking quite melancholic.

While you want to meet, Jiyeon always finds excuses not to since she's afraid of getting judged and losing a friend. She doesn't exactly lie about her condition but she keeps it a secret. One day, you two accidentally meet when you are buying something at her grocery. Jiyeon just hopes you two can still be friends.

  — by no means is Sooah timid or apologetic about her condition. so, when a bad physical day falls on the same as a blind date she promised her friend she'd go to, she goes! Zinger and all. only, the guy she was previously assured to be 'a sweet guy, so so so polite!' is quick to come up with his excuses and is out the door before the drinks even come. Sooah's miffed, irritated, but she's left to pay for everything, so she's not wasting her money and leaving, even if it makes for a bit of a sad sight. and it's that sad sight that compels you to join her.

  — Sooah dropping out of school was just as abrupt as her getting sick, leaving her no time to bid her farewells to anyone that wasn't her best friend. you were left with questions but, as things do in high school, topics come and go and you eventually moved on. when the two of you meet again by chance, there's a lot to catch up on.
