Reaching over for his satchel on an adjacent bundle of sack, he fishes out an unused leather glove and hair tie. “Wear these first,” he holds out both items for her. Needless to say, they’re to prevent her from injuries during the course of their training.

@lee soohyuk Jisoo dropped her arm upon the other taking the payment. "That' good, I don't like to be late." She said softly, more to herself than to the other. The other was right, it does make things easier for leaving later, and Jisoo was no fool, she had heard and saw many situations upon which people were not paid for their fare share of work, and Jisoo didn't want to end up like any of them. So she made sure to have everything on hand from the start, as she was sure the other as stated appreciated it that way. "Of course." She nodded.

"Oh." She said getting a little nervous, the female had only used a bow and arrow on small occasions, and none of them went well. "Five?" She confirmed nodding her head lightly before pulling her bow up grabbing an arrow, threading it through the bow, taking a moment before aiming them towards the straw board that other told her to aim at. Drawing the bow, she took a moment before releasing the bow, letting the arrow fly, before doing the same thing four more times. Each time taking a moment to focus on the target before releasing the bow.

@kim jisoo His pull on the bow slackens upon hearing a lady's voice, the arrow he had finding its way back on his quiver to free up a hand, before he pivots on his heel so he could face her. “You're right on time, I just finished with the setting,” he casually replies, instinctively extending a hand to receive his payment and stash it in his pockets. “I appreciate it. Usually, I get half at the start then the other after everything's done but I'll take this. Makes it easier for us to part ways later.” Although he hasn't been swindled out of his wage, he certainly experienced close calls before. It's not enough to make him force clients to pay upfront but it's tiring to chase around those sorts of people so he'd rather have things done like this.

“Anyway, we should get your coins' worth. How about you show me how you use your bow? Use these arrows and target the straw board,” he starts off with a clear of his throat, placing down the quiver atop some straw bundles for accessibility. “Perhaps, five shots would suffice. I just want to see how far along you are with your skills.”

@lee soohyuk Like any typical morning Jisoo woke up at the first crow of the rooster, which typically meant that the sun had just begun rising in the sky. The female got up, dressed and dis some small tasks that needed to be done around the house, before heading outside grabbing the bow she had gotten a few days before the first letter arrived. She took a look around trying to see if the mysterious person who answered her post on the city help board had arrived at the farm alright, only too see a male figure just a distance away. She trotted over to where the other was, apologies immediately falling out of . She hadn't known how long the male was waiting for her, and hoped that it wasn't long.

"I'm here! Sorry about your wait." She said finally coming to a stop, before her eyes widened, almost forgetting to be ready to pay the other. She felt around her pouches that she always put on in the morning to see if she had her coins. Grabbing out 3 silver coins, and holding them out for the other. "An extra one for coming out here, I'm sure with work like this payment always comes first, right?"

@kim jisoo As promised, Soohyuk arrives at the farmland before sunrise thanks to Jisoo's clear instructions. There have been prior instances when he had to roam around town and ask neighbors for his client's address, which he absolutely abhors due to the the waste of daylight, but fortunately, this time is different. In any case, as soon as he made sure the residence belongs to the Kim household, he had his horse, Leur, hop over the wooden fence and trudge further into the family's land, carefully steering to avoid trampling the lines of fresh produce and grains. Once he spots a relatively empty plot, he hitches his horse to a nearby tree and starts setting up the targets for today's lesson, a circular straw board on the right and a dummy on the left. They weren't exactly military grade but if it does the job, he doesn't care much about its aesthetic. Anyway, he finishes with the rest of his equipment just a little before dawn breaks and since his client still isn't around, he takes this time to practice on his bow first, successively piercing the dummy's head with his arrows.
