@Gun Atthaphanᵇᵉᵗᵃ *finishes making the rice and chicken, eyebrow perking slightly when I hear a voice from the living room. Sets the food aside and comes over, eyes widening when I see your form on the couch*
Ah...poor thing...
*Grabs a small cloth and kneels beside the couch, dabbing the sweat off your forehead. I want to cover your body but you're already sweating as it is*
Can you hear me?

*Speaks softly to you, not wanting to frighten you anymore than you probably already are*

*Brushes your hair away from your face carefully, movements slow and gentle*

@Bang Chanᵃˡᵖʰᵃ /going in an out of consciousness, at one point, I felt myself still on the pavement and then being lifted up, I whimpered at how warm it is/
/feeling myself against something warm and my body hotter as I go through my heat, I squirmed and once I'm placed atop something soft I stopped yet whimpers can now be heard from me, I tried to open my eyes but only able to do so a little, seeing a silhouette from afar/
'Where am I?'
/I thought to myself and as soon as I got a bit of my consciousness back, the immediately scent and presence of an alpha hits me/
'Oh god. Where am I?'
/panting yet again, I can feel my body sweat underneath all of my fur and feeling as if I'm about to suffocate, I tried to fight it off as I didn't want to just present myself in my human form but before I could find the will to stop my body, it morphed into my human form. ears and tail out, on the couch, writhing and culred up, body covered in sweat and literal heat radiating off my body as I rub my thighs and hold my abdomen upon feeling continuous wave of pain courses through my body as the pit of my stomach clenched/
W-Where am I? Where am I?
/I kept repeating as I am now in a feverish state, so close to losing it but also scared as I don't know where I am nor do I know who brought me here/

@Gun Atthaphanᵇᵉᵗᵃ *walking home from a long shift at the clinic, I decide to cut through the park. A little fresh air feels so good compared to being cooped up at the hospital. Luckily I don't live far. A little bolt of excitement hits my chest when I see the cutest little puppy with tired floppy ears headed towards me, but that excitement turns to concern when I hear it's whimpers and it falls directly at my feet*
Oh no-
*Kneels down closer, the familiar scent of pheromones hitting my senses, realizing you must be in heat. Frowns a little, not wanting to leave a pup in heat passed out for anyone to grab*
Let's get you somewhere safe.
*Scoops you up into my arms and carries you to my home. Gently lays you on the couch, giving your small head a gentle pet before disappearing into the bathroom to shower. Comes out after some time, hair still somewhat wet, wearing only a pair of sweat pants. Takes a moment to check on you before heading to the kitchen to make some food, deciding on some chicken*

@Bang Chanᵃˡᵖʰᵃ /finding myself wandering out from my apartment after shifting in my wolf form again, trying to hide the fact that I'm in heat and not wanting to feel cooped up and frustrated in my apartment, I headed out again trudging around the area until I found myself in a park/
'Damn it. I'm lost. . .'
/I thought to myself, people are looking at me like I'm some circus attraction, some of them trying to pet me, others trying to catch me and it's starting to freak me out and scare me at the same time, already regretting my decision to leave my apartment/
'Great. ing genius, Gun. Why'd you have to do this to yourself?'
/I once again chastised myself mentally until I felt my body wanting to just drop and twist as I felt that pang of heat and pain in my gut, trying to keep walking, I couldn't do so anymore and the last thing I see were a pair of feet in front of me before I drop on the ground, passing out with my lithe wolf body trembling as I pant and whimper in the middle of this park, away from the crowded area an in a quieter one, unsure of what's going to happen at this point as I blacked out/

Seoul is not the optimal location to stargaze. The city’s light pollution isn’t as terrible as cities like Tokyo or Sydney, and the general air pollution isn’t as bad as Hong Kong, but Seoul is still a big city, and it’s far from the most optimal place to stargaze. If Jaeyun really wanted to see that stars, to connect the lines between the pinprick constellations in the sky or drink from the depths of the Milky Way, he’d have to go out into the country or return home to Australia, seeking out the desolation of the outback to find enough dark to truly watch the stars.

But Jaeyun doesn’t have the time for that. Or the funds, really. Even with extended family back in Australia, it’s an expensive trip. He also has an emergency shift at the bookstore tomorrow to handle a delayed freight issue and an interview at a restaurant close to his apartment in a few days, plus dinner with his mother tomorrow night. He might be willing to skip out on the interview and book store, but never his mother, not when she’s been so excited about cooking lately.

But he’d still had the need to get away, a desperate urge to escape the static that lined his daily thoughts and the war drums that are wont to pound in his blood like a second heartbeat, an undeniable reminder of what is coming, of who is coming.

The park, a few blocks from his apartment but still far enough from the city center to avoid the most massive dumps of light, isn’t quite perfect, but it’s enough. And that’s where midnight finds Jaeyun, sprawled on a blanket on the dry, dead grass, hands behind his head and eyes on the sky. It’s a little chilly out, his hoodie and jeans not quite thick enough to ward off the bite of the night air, but the cold had long-since stopped being a major problem for Jaeyun, even though his knuckles ache and his back will be sore in the morning.

But that’s a problem for tomorrow morning’s Jaeyun, not tonight’s.

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ Taehyun pouts but nods his head. "It was nice to get to talk to you though. I hope we can chat a bit more." He flashes Theo a bright smile.

@Kang Taehyunᵃˡᵖʰᵃ 　　⤿ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: mixed up - epipen

　　Theo clears his throat, resisting the urge to rub his cheek where he'd once again been poked. "Well," he mutters, lifting his wrist to look at his watch. He has about an hour and a half before he has to be at his second job. "Unfortunately, I have to run. I have a shift this afternoon."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ "Then I'm happy to say it again and again." Taehyun pokes Theo's cheek with a soft chuckle. "At least until it becomes annoying for you. I don't wat to bother you. I just want to talk to you."

@Kang Taehyunᵃˡᵖʰᵃ 　　⤿ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: betcha - baekhyun

　　"Is it," Theo questions drily. It's certainly nothing he's heard before, but that's neither here nor there. He tilts his head, slowing his pace. He's not sure what they're doing. Walking in circles in the park. It's... not the norm, for Theo. "You're probably the only person that would say that. Anyway, I'm not nice."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ "That's what a lot of people say." Although he'd only befriended Taeyang and Yetao but still. He didn't feel it was appropriate to mention Taeyang though. "Doesn't have to be sweet. Grumpy people are nice too."

@Kang Taehyunᵃˡᵖʰᵃ 　　⤿ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: keep running - tei shi

　　"Ugh. Please. There's nothing in' sweet to find here." Theo crosses his arms, briefly rolling his eyes. He's about as sweet as a chili pepper and as tolerable as eating the seeds of one. "You're gonna be wasting your time."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ Taehyun tilts his head to the side. "But I don't mean it rudely. Grumpy people are usually really sweet under it all. It just takes a bit of understanding and patience to see it." He flashes a smile. "I got plenty of time to wait and see."

@Kang Taehyunᵃˡᵖʰᵃ 　　⤿ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: sugar - dvi

　　Theo huffs. "Wow, so you think I'm grumpy. Watch yourself," the omega threatens, though it's mostly an empty threat. He wouldn't hurt Taehyun. Probably. Give it time. Theo will undoubtedly manage to do so one way or another.

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ Taehyun nods his head. "Yes you."
His head tilting to the side as Theo mentions headaches. Taehyun's eyes dart around the scenery as he tries to think about it. "Nope! It's kind of interesting. Sometimes as long as I think grumpy I can kind of get it!"

@Kang Taehyunᵃˡᵖʰᵃ 　　⤿ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: strung - dounia

　　The omega's taken aback by the poke to his cheek, blinking rapidly. He snaps his teeth at Taehyun's finger, not close enough or hard enough to actually bite him. He tells himself the only reason he doesn't bite the other redhead is because he doesn't know where his hands have been.

"Me, specifically?" Theo raises both eyebrows. Keep trying, he doesn't say. He knows he's probably not the easiest person to understand, especially with how prickly he can be. Like with Yoosung. But Yoosung's good at reading through him even if Theo denies, denies, denies. "Must give you a headache."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ "It can be. Although it can be interesting to try depending on the person." Taehyun pokes Theo's cheek. "You seem interesting. So I try to understand you not others." He chuckles as if what he said was really funny.

　　Maybe some people would have, but it hadn't been an option for Theo. The omega shrugs a shoulder and chooses to let that topic die. Lingering on things wasn't the best way to clear the air. "At least you can count to ten. That was a joke, though, I assumed you could at least do that. Besides, understanding people is overrated. Everyone's different."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ "I think it is." Taehyun flashes another dimpled smile. "Some people would give up instantly in that situation." He left it at that not wanting to bring down the mood down. "You can be dumb in different ways. I can count to ten but I don't quite understand people. Although... I'm starting to think no one does."

　　"You have an interesting outlook on the world." It's not exactly one Theo shares, this ideal of Taehyun's. "You're not dumb. If you are, it's not because of that. Can you count to ten? Probably. You'll be fine." If he doesn't get into another fight with the wolf that left him scarred up in the first place. "Pfff." Dark eyes roll, the omega unreceptive to his companion's words. "Again, didn't have a in choice. It's not exactly admirable to do the minimum to survive."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ "Everyone is awful in different ways though. I try far too hard to try to make things positive or say nice things or stuff like that. I annoy some people with it. But there are some that like it... I know there are a few who think I'm dumb cause of it." Taehyun smiles at Theo. "It's okay. And looks are what makes you attractive. It's how you are. You made a whole new life. You worked so hard... that's what's attractive about you."

@Kang Taehyunᵃˡᵖʰᵃ 　　⤿ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: false perspectives - dounia

　　Theo studies Taehyun and shakes his head. "Sure, Taehyun. Next you'll be saying you want the beat up car that doesn't in' run, too." He tucks his hands in the pockets of his joggers, gazing off into the distance. "I might be pretty but I'm kind of awful too. I don't know how Yoosung puts up with my ." It comes out matter-of-fact, because it's the damn truth. Taehyun's not the best person around. He can own that. Depending on who he's talking to, anyway.

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ Taehyun follows him. "I guess that's true. But in my opinion that makes you less of a trash goblin." He flashes him a warm smile. He was not about to accept that Theo was less than in any way. Sharing features with Taeyang aside. Theo seemed really cool to him.

@Kang Taehyunᵃˡᵖʰᵃ 　　⤿ ɴᴏᴡ ᴘʟᴀʏɪɴɢ: gasoline - key

　　"No, I definitely look like a trash goblin. That's a matter of opinion, Taehyun." Theo runs his fingers through the red hair in question. "The red is like. Hmm. It's like putting a fresh coat of paint on a beat up car. You can hide the damage but that doesn't make it run any in' better." It's not self-deprecating, not really. There's half a grin on his face as he steps down the sidewalk, at a leisurely pace. He shrugs a shoulder. "I kind of have to. There's no one to hold my in hand and help me figure anything out. It'd be nice to know the truth, sure. But... I'm not gonna magically remember, and no one knows me. So. Living as Theo it is."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ Taehyun chuckles softly. "No one looks like a trash goblin. Everyone looks good." He smiles at Theo. "I bet it's a lot more than your hair. It's probably the way you carry yourself. You seem very sure of yourself even... with the other thing. You move like you have things figured out." It was more things he remembered from Taeyang.

　　Theo raises both brows at that. Look, the omega's not an idiot and he's not blind. He knows he's attractive. Objectively. And he's been approached enough by strangers to give him a sort of confidence in knowing that other people think he's hot too. But he's also Taeyang, and he could either flirt with Taehyun and fluster him or move the conversation in a different direction because he doesn't want to up this... friendship...? Whatever the is going on. He needs a bottle of wine and to bother his ing bird instead of being bothered for once. "It's the red hair," Theo coos, turning it into a joke. Haha, humor! "It makes me look less like a homeless trash goblin."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ "I may have said handsome a lot. I guess describing everyone as attractive isn't realistic or something. ...everyone is attractive though. My friend Tao looks really good in their costumes. So good. And..." Taehyun stopped himself from speaking about Taeyang. He didn't want things weird so he just started to pick out strangers explaining to Theo what made them attractive. Taehyun simply picked something positive about each person then waxed on poetically about that.

　　Theo's lips quirk. "How are you describing me that makes people think you're exaggerating?" the omega asks, rather amused. "Fine, though, you can take your picture and prove I'm just as scary as you told them."

@Theo Choiᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ Taehyun nods. "I may have described you and people think I'm overexaggerating... so I guess?" He chuckled softly with his brow furrowed. "I guess proving you look as I described makes more sense."
