@Chae Hyungwon Jinki swallowed a curse as he gripped the handlebar of the boat, his knuckles turning white as he tried to remain on his feet while the boat was rocking violently due to the waves crashing into them. The storm had not reached its peak, instead, it was only at the beginning. The storm was only starting and the water was already a dangerous place to be in.

His eyes squinted, droplets of salt water collecting into his thick knitted brows, he was observing the path before him, making sure he wouldn't collide into anything or another boat. But then he saw something bob along the water, he blinked a few times as he wasn't sure what it could be.

He continued to watch this object move aggressively under the ocean's control, he turned his head as it moved to the side, and then it disappeared under the water. Jinki felt his heart stop, or so it seemed. He swore it was a person he saw, then he tried to reason with himself, it could have also been a drift wood that had gotten swallowed up by the sea.

He slowed his boat down till it would come to a stop, though the waves crashing against it's metal walls was the only thing moving it. Jinki searched the spot he saw the person, he thought it would be crazy to go out there with no one to rescue him. What if there was no one there but a piece of junk, but....what if it was a poor person out there.... He anchored his boat, and double-checked his vest and tied a rope to his waist to the boat, so that way he would not go too far from it.

Taking a moment to gain courage and to offer prayers he finally jump into the water, the coldness slamming against his body, taking the air out of his lungs briefly. He pushed through and looked underneath, hoping to catch a glimpse of the drowning figure.

@Lee Jinkiᵃˡᵖʰᵃ after minutes of a very enjoyable swim, hyungwon eventually reached the small rocky island. carefully and with slight difficulties, he climbed the rocks and rested on top, using the first given moment to catch his breath and rest. rocks by the big bodies of lively water could be very traitorous and he didn't plan to repeat the same mistakes he had made in the past, with a couple of scars to prove that. his fingers ran through the dark wet strands on his head, pushing them away from his forehead. he looked around, immediately falling in love once again with the steady, unfazed peace of the water. the element was remorseless. something to aspire to become, he thought to himself, groaning a little as he laid down, bathing in the sun, being splashed by tiny droplets of water. hyungwon didn't even notice when his eyes became so heavy and he fell into a slumber. he woke up suddenly, when it wasn't just a tiny droplet of water he felt on his face but at least a whole bucket that ocean dropped on him. he immediately sat up, whining. he was clearly sunburnt, however, the weather around him was much more alarming. it was dark. he spotted heavy dangerously looking clouds coming closer. the wind was cold and somehow sinister, and previously peaceful waves now felt like a pitfall. adrenaline filled his veins. he had only two choices and without much thinking he jumped into the water, trying to get to the shore as soon as possible, before the storm would catch him up. swimming wasn't so easy anymore. every costed him a lot of energy. so much he was completely hopeless when drift suddenly pulled him under the surface.

@Chae Hyungwon Jinki had gone fishing earlier in the morning, one of the perfect times to fetch a few fishes and best way to kill a few hours at the ocean. Once it kicked afternoon, he was getting less bites on his line and decided to pack up for the day and make his way home. Packing up all of the fish he caught which would either be his future dinner or someone else's in a cooler and safely put away his fishing gear before starting the engine of his small boat.

It would take a bit to get back to land but he enjoyed the sound of the water crashing into his metal boat and the sun glimmering over the water before him. It was a long, beautiful trip he didn't mind taking but he noticed the dark clouds creeping in from the distance, luckily he was already on his way home, hopefully, he'll miss the storm.

@Lee Jinkiᵃˡᵖʰᵃ the weather was simply stunning. hot sunbeams fell onto hyungwon's exposed shoulders warming them up. he sat on a towel spread over the bright sand and his eyes were glued to the blue water and the blue sky above. slightly cool wind felt amazing on his skin, brushing it and making the sun and temperature more bearable, less exhausting and noticeable as well. he wasn't the only one spending the early afternoon by the sea. eventually he got up from his spot and brushed off the excessive grains of sand that stuck to his skin before he headed to the water. it was cool, as expected in contact with a warmed-up body. he took slow steady steps deeper into the water gradually immersing more and more. he gave his body enough time to get used to the change of environment before he started to swim. his destination was one: the tiny white rocky island that had grown onto deeper waters. he had been there multiple times before and loved the spot very much. aside from a few seagulls resting there, he was the only temporary tenant. it was a peaceful spot. definitely the spot to turn off thinking and for some time forget about the rest of the world.
