– you’re always around the same area and always end up catching the same villain, and sijia is annoyed by that. not that she doesn’t want her spotlight to be stolen, but the media has framed you both to be duos and people are actually buying it (no matter how many times sijia’s scowled on camera). what’s worse is because of this, you’re both assigned to this upcoming mission she can’t back out on.

– sijia was right with being asocial, the next time someone tells her to go out more she is locking herself at home. that is because one time her ‘friends’ dragged her to a blind date**, she found herself handed over to a villain who was just a table across her. seriously, what is this tactic?***

you got into a rough fight and were now in some dingy alleyway, battered and bleeding. you fled the battle knowing any longer could lead to your death, which brought you to your current predicament. you could not exactly go to a hospital since some civilians are not tolerant of metahumans.

just as you thought you will lose consciousness before anyone finds you, someone entered the alleyway you were in. they noticed your injury and was quick to get to work. you did not want to bother them and tried to stop them, but was instead pushed back to rest.

you know what you saw. the man had cat ears and a tail, plus paws and cat eyes to boot. yet after rubbing your eyes, those traits are gone and standing in front of you is a simple man with bright blue curly hair tied in a pony tail — even his eyes are just normal human blue.

“you are a cat-”

you hear meowing noises during a casual stroll on the street. a quick inspection reveals a young man kneeling in front of a box. inside the box are a few kittens.

the young man notices you and seems fidgety, but does not run away or tell you to leave. he seems interested with the kittens so you accompany him. you suggest to get some food for the kittens, which sparks you and the young man’s visit to the box of kittens everyday.

《 teenagers scare the living out of me 》

a group of men (3-5) were ganging up on you. ten passed by the scene and stepped in, intending to stop the harassers. unfortunately, he received a beating for trying to interfere.

before you can help, the man suddenly grabbed one of the assailants and pulled them forward to headbutt them. when he lifted his face, there was a different expression. you can tell whoever was fighting back these harassers, they weren’t the same person who stepped in.

× if a civilian, depending on your character’s personality, they may be about to call the police or stop the harassers before tide fights back
× if a hero or (empathetic) villain, you are able to handle yourself but when ten interferes and gets beaten up for it, you want to stop the harassers only to watch in shock as tide suddenly pummels the harassers

× (this could lead further into a solid, strong connection, but it doesn't necessarily have to be). you remembered when you found yourself in a troubling situation as another fight between a villain and a hero broke out inside of your workplace. the roof was now gone, and unfortunately, you were the only staff trapped, unable to evacuate to safety. as you prayed, a man emerged through the cracks and rubbles - the same person sitting in front of you at the moment who vowed always to serve and protect.
