a slow jazz music served as an ambiance in the bar. you sat beside a fellow customer at the counter, ordering shots of your favourite alcohol. the man by your side swirled his drink idly, watching the liquid inside the glass.
you struck up a conversation with the man, topic getting more personal as the night went on. he was just a stranger, so there was no worry in sharing private information about yourself, or hearing about confidential details regarding the stranger. both of you were intoxicated, and before either noticed, the two of you were stumbling out of the bar, thirsty to sate the flame within yourselves.

the nightclub was packed with bodies — at the bar, on the dance floor. there were many faces, but only one stood out to you. although men and women alike surrounded him, he had distinctive features that popped out to you.
his white hair and pale skin shone under the dim light. the red attire he donned only made his unique appearance more pronounced. you allowed yourself onto the dance floor and joined him.
