The book shop located in Tower District.

@Emily Mei The bespectackled male's visage creases, more so prominently around the sides of his eyes when the rhomboids of flaxen sunbeam dawdled through closed windows without curtains, one-half of his face was softly eclipsed by shadows. His footsteps weren't muffled by the dull maroon carpeted floor since the flimsy carpet was beyond repair, frayed on the edges with curled corners ready to stumble an unsuspecting costumer. This unsuspecting costumer being Yukhei, he gasped as he wobbled forward unsteadily. Unfortunately, the woman chose this very moment to turn around and hence the collision was unavoidable.

Yukhei winced when he felt the sharp elbow nudge on his abdomen yet he lurched forward to grab the woman by her shoulders, making sure that she doesn't bump into something else."Goodness gracious!" He exclaimed in a hushed voice, or at least his definition of a subdued volume afraid to disrupt the store's tranquil atmosphere. "My apologies. I didn't mean to startle you, miss. Are you alright?" The end of his query seemed to be directed at the precious, albeit inanimate object still in her hands. A second passed, then two before realization dawned upon and he recoiled as if a spring was released from it's bended state.

@Wong Yuk-hei Emily tug on her oversized white hoodie as she skipped into the bookstore happily pushing up her glasses that she often wear instead of her contacts when she isn't working. Something about the smell of old books on one side and new books on the other always makes her more relaxed. Turning around a few shelves she finally grabbed the book that she's been meaning to come in the last week and a half. Her smile widen as she hold onto "The Little Prince" novella before admiring the cover work and all. Her frame leans against the bookshelf gently as she starts reading the first few pages smiling softly not hearing the footsteps that had stopped behind her. Closing the book carefully, she excitedly turn around bumping hard into the person immediately holding her hand up high to avoid damaging the very special edition of the novella.

@Emily Mei Thin, gold-rimmed spectacles perched over the bridge of his straight nose slid down at irregular intervals was pushed back in haste. The air enclosed within the four walls stacked with methodically aligned books with their spines facing outward. Unmistakable scent of varnish clung onto the wooden shelves still held a light sheen upon the surface, he thumbed the golden letterings of a random book whose jacket seemed untouched by bare hands,yet (except for the bookshop's owner, obviously). Yukhei had ventured outside the comforts of his apartment in search of a limited edition of a novella "The Little Prince." rumoured to be found within this particular store. And, the Phoenix wanted this book more than anything else.

He searched deeper, guided by the owner's directions only to have his heart dropped into his stomach when he finds a woman holding possession of the very same treasure that he desperately needed.
